In June of 2008, Michael wrote the first draft of Maybe Tomorrow. This, his twelfth screenplay, would be the first he wrote with the intention of producing himself. He would also direct and star in the film.
As he raised the capital necessary to produce Maybe Tomorrow, he ventured into blogging. Seeking an Internet platform that aligned with his political worldview, he stumbled upon Veracity Stew and became a contributing writer to this progressive and rapidly expanding website.
Michael was soon promoted to Editor at Large, a position he held until the website closed down in 2014. Meanwhile, after racking up awards on the festival circuit, Maybe Tomorrow secured distribution with Entertainment One and is currently available on Amazon and iTunes.
Michael has directed several short films while raising financing for his second feature A Bellevue Love Story. Having written the script, he plans to direct and star in the picture, which hopes to commence production in the summer of 2016.
